MTextReader 2.1 is released, new features:
- Fully customised GUI replaced device dependent UI in order to keep consistency across all devices
- Better support for GB2312 even if your device itself does not support GB2312
- Two modes for touchscreen: click-to-scroll and drag-to-scroll
- Multi-language user interface
- Ask for language and detects left/right softkeys on first run
- Full screen with/without menu bar
- Minor improvements and bug fixes
- The whole program is still within 64KB

MTextReader is a text file (.txt) reader for Java-enabled cellphones, it has the following features:
1. An easy-to-use text file browser
2. Bookshelf, a function similar to bookmark, allows you store your current progress and/or continue reading from previous stored progress
3. Several built-in color schemes
4. You can choose font sizes, encodings and languages*
5. Backlight can be set to ON or auto**
6. Real time clock, you can know the time when you are reading
7. "Jump to" lets you directly go to a specified part of a text
8. Pixel-level autoscroll, speed can be adjusted
* not all encodings are supported by all phones, using an unsupported encoding may cause errors; currently two languages are supported: English and Chinese
** backlight function may not work on certain kinds of devices

'All-Format Writer' is a freeware Java J2ME-based application for the mobile/cellular phone. It allows you to create and send out short and simple documents on the mobile phone in various competing 'next-generation' electronic document formats. These include OpenDocument Format (ODT), Microsoft's Office 2007 Open XML (DOCX), China's national electronic document format Unified Office Format (UOF / ) and the popular Portable Document Format (PDF).
Note: If you get the following message when trying to save - 'Please insert removable storage to continue', it means that it can't locate the MS / SD card in the phone (which typically should be the e: drive). Ensure that removable storage has a folder OR CREATE THESE FOLDERS "e:\MSSEMC\Media files\other" for MS, and 'e:\Others\' for SD Cards.
